Ms. Zamayar represented Ms. M for a protective order hearing against her ex-boyfriend in Fairfax County Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court. Ms. M and her ex-boyfriend were living together f ... or several years. During this time, Ms. M’s ex-boyfriend committed several acts of physical violence against Ms. M. At the protective order hearing, Ms. Zamayar was able to carefully guide Ms. M through her direct examination testimony, whereby Ms. M testified in detail to all incidents of abuse committed by the ex-boyfriend. The court ultimately granted Ms. M a two-year permanent protective order, prohibiting the ex-boyfriend from contacting Ms. M and requiring him to stay 500 feet away from her at all times.
