Would highly recommend this law firm! I was represented by Kristy and she is extremely prompt, professional, & thorough. She made the divorce process bearable & kept me informed the entire way. What can I say about Kristy.... She has a big reputation. How she got it, I don't know. I went to her because she was supposed to be the best divorce Lawyer around. Not the case. It took for ever. It took her six months after I hired her to even sit down and talk to me. I hadn't even met her b...efore we met with my ex and her lawyer for the first time. She is the most disorganized person I have ever come across. I can't count the number of documents she lost and I had to resend. She was not very helpful. It got to the point that I was doing my own research, my own calculations. The legal aid I worked with was incompetent and had no business working with people. Her attitude was poor and often made me wonder whose side she was on. If you enjoy doing most of the work yourself, by all means, hire her. It still won't be cheap. $14,000 for a divorce and we settled out of court. It was only when my ex and I sat down without our attorneys that we made progress. To top it off she was recently suspended by the Iowa Bar for misrepresenting fees. No surprise there. So if you want my advice, keep looking.
