Plaintiff claimed it shipped a 5.56 carat, natural fancy intense pink diamond, valued at a wholesale price of between $1.5 and $2million to Defendant, an International Diamond Trading Company Sighthold ... er. Defendant claimed through testimony and their in store video that Plaintiff had shipped an empty box to them and engaged in an insurance scam. Plaintiff had no photograph of the diamond shipped nor record of the pink diamond ever being placed in his inventory. In fact, other than the testimony of the Plaintiff, there was no evidence of the pink diamond being purchased or shipped to Julius Klein Diamonds.
