My primary area of practice involves construction disputes. I am an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association’s Construction Arbitrator Panel, a member of the American Bar Association's Forum on Construction Law, Iowa State Bar Association’s Construction Law Section, the firm’s Construction Law Practice Group, and various residential and commercial construction trade associations.
I have handled a wide variety of disputes, such as personal injury, insurance, business, agricultural, banking, and commercial disputes.
Prior to joining the firm in 2001, I worked for two years as a judicial law clerk to Judge Harold Vietor of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa.
