Jeffrey D. Harty

Jeff received a degree in industrial engineering from Iowa State University and worked as a computer consultant with Accenture (formerly Anderson Consulting) before continuing his academic pursuits at the University of Iowa College of Law. He received his law degree with high distinction in 1995. After nearly 20 years in the practice, Jeff joined Nyemaster Goode, P.C.

Jeff's primary focus is representing clients in intellectual property litigation matters. Jeff is also a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, assisting clients in managing their patent and trademark portfolios.

Jeff is an adjunct professor of law at Drake University Law School. Jeff is also an adjunct professor at the University of Iowa College of Law, teaching intellectual property courses.
