Absolutely. Defendants usually get a better outcome by pleading guilty without a trial than being found guilty after a trial.

A lawyer or anyone else (including you) can call the court clerk in that county/state and ask.

If there’s a pending custody case, you should hire an attorney. Her being in somebody’s will is irrelevant.

If there’s no court order stating otherwise, you’re welcome to move wherever you want with your child.

There’s no such thing as neglect for not seeing your kids for 6+ months. If you have a custody order and she’s violating it, file for contempt.

You should return for fingerprinting.

You can certainly ask for the police to return it to you, but that likely wont happen until they've thoroughly searched it.
