Mrs. Pruitt was involved in a car wreck in December 2007. Her most significant injuries were to her knees. Both her knees hit the dashboard when the Defendant made a left turn in front of her. Over ... the next three years Mrs. Pruitt had her swollen left knee drained four times, as well as shots of novacaine administered. In total, Mrs. Pruitt had $8,500.00 worth of medical expenses. Prior to the trial the highest offer we received from the Defendant's insurance company was $6,000.00. After about an hour and a half of deliberation, a Hall County jury returned a $28,500.00 verdict.
