Jennifer Hall De Kock

Jen De Kock is an attorney with Coppola Hockenberg, PC. Jen is a trial and transactional attorney, practicing primarily in commercial litigation, medical malpractice and personal injury, employment law, professional licensing disputes, and business transactions. Throughout her career, Jen has litigated complex commercial matters including business and farm dissolutions, medical malpractice, products liability, contract claims, and agriculture nuisance cases.

Jen has tried bench and jury cases across Iowa in state and federal courts and successfully defended medical professionals before multiple licensing boards. Jen has prosecuted and defended numerous appeals before the Iowa Court of Appeals and the Iowa Supreme Court, and successfully argued before the Iowa Supreme Court. Jen graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 1999 with a B.A. in English Literature and earned her J.D. in 2002 at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. She began her career as a law clerk at the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois and worked in politics and lobbying before beginning her practice as a litigator in 2010. As a Chicago native happily transplanted to Clive, Iowa, Jen is licensed in Iowa and Illinois.

Jen enjoys time with her family spent fishing and sailing on West Lake Okoboji, skiing, and watching the Chicago Bulls and Iowa Hawkeyes Basketball.
