I defended an employer in a suit brought by a former independent contractor ("IC") for payment of sums that the IC claimed my client owed under multiple contracts. After consultation with the client an ... d a thorough review of the contracts, daily work records kept by the employer, phone, e-mail, and text logs, and relevant statutes and case law, I advised my client that I felt they had a strong defense. At a bench trial of this matter, the Court found in favor of my client and we were able to resolve this suit with costs minimized and without any further issue.
