Not sure if it was a stretch to say his client was in fear of his life because of the George Floyd incident. That defense seems more like banking in on a tragedy that occurred to a black man who was killed by negligence when the crime was petty. His client had a warrant, knew he was going to be extra...dited to another state and did not want to go plan and simple. He pushed the driver out of the car and drove with an officer on the hood and ended up breaking his back. I have no doubt being black and being approached by a white officer may be intimidating but you can’t cry George Floyd like wolf any time a black person is approached by an white officer. Based on that logic as part of his defense I have questions of his competence as an attorney and his judgment and logic.
