I hired Rob to represent me when I was a Trooper with the Michigan State Police and Chairman of the BHK Child Development Board who was going through a divorce and contentious child custody battle. Early in the divorce proceedings, I provided Rob with my ex-wife's handwritten journals that were dist...urbing and indicative of her volatile mental state. Rob placed the journals in a folder but never commented on them, even though I sought his advice. Two months later, while continuing to reside in my home, my incorrigible 12 year old son slapped his younger brother on the back and accused me of doing it. Although local law enforcement observed no injuries, this led to a misdemeanor charge. I subsequently hired Tom Casselman to represent me in a trial that never transpired (see Tom's rating) but ultimately lost my career, never had meaningful contact with my children again and the incident left an indelible mark on the internet. Rob might be a decent Judge but he's too laid back to represent people with high-level careers.
