Client was charged with No Valid Driver's License. For riding a moped bike! Client was offered 10 days in jail and he is mexican, therefore facing deportation over something this minimal. Prosecutor re ... fused to lower the offer. I decided to ask the judge for a plea conference, and was able to resolve the case in front of the judge for credit time served. The client walked out free and very happy that same day.
