SHELTON v. FAST ADVANCE FUNDING, LLC (2:18-cv-02071)
Representation for the Plaintiff in a Telephone Consumer Protection Act case.
For various [logistical] reasons I did not timely file for summ...ary judgment so instead I filed a motion-in-limine to prohibit the Defendant from offering into evidence anything that would rebut the admitted Requests for Admission [Defendant did not respond to Requests for Admission] and to exclude any evidence that was contrary to the Requests for Admission. The court granted the motion and I obtained judgment as a matter of law for the Plaintiff on the first day of what was supposed to have been a multiple day jury trial.
