Biography
I am an advocate with a strong desire to help others, and I take great pride in guiding people through the legal system while supporting them as they begin new chapters in their lives.
Originally from Burr Ridge, Illinois—a suburb of Chicago—I always knew I wanted to become a lawyer, a goal I pursued with unwavering dedication. I moved to Michigan to attend law school and have proudly made it my home ever since.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida in 2006, followed by my Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2011. I furthered my legal education by obtaining an LL.M. in Taxation from Thomas M. Cooley in 2013. I was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2011 and am licensed to practice in all Michigan state courts as well as tribal court. I am also a proud member of the State Bar of Michigan Family Law Section.
My personal experience with divorce inspired me to focus my legal career on family law. Because I understand firsthand the emotional and legal complexities involved, I am deeply committed to helping clients navigate difficult times with clarity and confidence. I bring both compassion and extensive legal knowledge to my practice, ensuring my clients feel supported and empowered throughout their journeys.
