Murder in the first degree. Client was accused of killing their significant other by running them over with a car after the decedent DNA was found under the Defendants car. After an 8 hour preliminary ... hearing the judge set the defendants bond to $75k while I was able to file a motion to quash. District Judge agreed and dismissed the case. (The key was the lack of evidence. Particularly there was glass shards in the decedent chest cavity, the Defendants car did not have any broken glass). Therefore, it was highly unlikely the defendants car led to the decedents death.
