Gang of union workers attacked and beat up nonunion workers erecting a church school on church property, leaving workers with broken jaw, bloodied faces, and body bruising. After six years of litigati ... on, the Union President and Business Agent were convicted of extortion and sent to federal prison. Liability for assault and secondary boycott against the workers and Company was affirmed by the federal court in Hammond, Indiana. The Court also issued a 100-year injunction against the Union for approaching the Company anywhere near its jobsites and its workers at their homes.
