OUTCOME: Client obtained a substantial amount of assets from opposing party, opposing party still cannot come anywhere near client, and was awarded the dog.

I was hired by client to represent him on a divorce action which arose out of an incident that involved opposing party taking a knife and trying to stab my client. I immediately obtained a protective ... order for my client, so that opposing party could not go within 500 yards of him, and got him the exclusive use of the residence throughout the pending divorce.
