My name is Dan Stauffer.  I am the owner of Alternative Resolutions & Law, PLLC, one of the very few firms dedicated to helping couples, private individuals and legal entities (companies) resolve their divorce or other conflict.  That conflict may be very legal in nature (that is already deeply involved in litigation), just getting started, or at any point in between.

 I believe the vast majority of people deserve the opportunity to create an agreement that is in their interests (beneficial to their families), in a timely manner, and at a reasonable cost (parties share the mediator’s fee). Most people do not realize they have the power to resolve most of their non-criminal disputes without litigation and with or without attorneys.  Please reach out to me for a more complete picture of how this works.  By the way, an agreement reached in mediation is a legally binding contract which is enforceable in a Michigan Court of Law.
