Biography
Nicole E. Springstead-Stolte graduated summa cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law and seventh in her class. She also earned academic awards for the highest grade in several law school classes, as well as top brief awards in appellate competitions, including a top brief award in a national criminal appellate competition.
Prior to joining Springstead Bartish Borgula & Lynch, PLLC, Ms. Springstead worked for a criminal defense firm, fighting for the rights of clients in cases involving a variety of allegations across Michigan. She also worked for the Michigan Attorney General’s office, where she analyzed and summarized issues in civil and criminal cases, including issues involving Michigan Sentencing Guidelines and lifetime juvenile sentences, and she assisted in civil litigation on behalf of the State of Michigan. Ms. Springstead also has experience working in a large corporate law firm with offices throughout the United States and abroad.
