I was an emotional wreck when I first contacted this attorney. I had prior convictions and the new charges against me had the potential of putting me behind bars for a very long time. Mr. McInerney asked questions and answered the many questions I had and by the time the first phone call ended I wa...s so much calmer. Long story short, he spent a lot of time getting me through this ordeal, he knew his stuff and the results were incredible. Grateful also for his faith in my ability to make payments on my fee. I believe he's a good criminal lawyer but lacks on the driving law aspect. When the plea was offered I asked what punishment came with it. What he told me and what I got were two different things. When I signed up with him I told him the main goal and well that didn't happen. Seemed scared to go any... route but plea. If he couldn't or wouldn't do what I wanted him to I would have hired someone else. If he was more up on the driving law (criminal and driving are separate now) and told me what was going to actually occur if I plead to what I did, I would have never accepted it. If he didn't make it sound like he knew what he was doing with the consultation I wouldn't have hired him. If you're up for anything driving related go somewhere else. Talked to three other lawyers since conviction and well he wasn't knowledgeable in the area for sure.
