Jonathan Kenneth Blair

Jonathan K. Blair graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in History, with an emphasis in world religions. He studied law at the Thomas M. Cooley Law school, graduating magna cum laude in the top two percent of his class. While at Cooley Mr. Blair earned the certificate of merit in Criminal Procedure, Sales, Education Law, and Michigan Criminal Practice. Mr. Blair also participated in the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review as an associate editor and later Managing Editor/Teaching Assistant for Scholarly Writing. His article "United States v. Wen: Labeling the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act as an 'Administrative Search' to Circumvent the Fourth Amendment," published in the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review, is available at: . Previously Mr. Blair worked in the Chambers of the Honorable George Corsiglia in the Allegan County Circuit Court as a judicial law clerk. He also frequently appeared as a criminal defense attorney in the Allegan County District Court, where he handled a wide variety of cases including operating while intoxicated (DUI's), domestic batteries, assaults, drug possessions, and a variety of other crimes. Mr. Blair also interned at the United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Michigan's criminal division and the Michigan Attorney General's Division of Alcohol and Gaming. Mr. Blair's practice includes criminal defense, drunk driving, personal injury, wrongful death, divorce, family law & custody, general civil litigation, wills and trusts, and corporate law.
