Worst attorney ever lack of professional practices

This guy is absolutely the worst lawyer in the world had I known that he had been reprimanded by the State Bar prior to receiving him as a court-appointed attorney I would have requested a different attorney I called everyday for 2 months to speak to him prior to my first court hearing with no respon...se subsequently when I came to get sentenced he hadn't even spoken to the judge or the district attorney this guy is a hack stay far away from him

No communication! Lack of client contact

Public defense at its worse. No communication with client! Never brought up proper defenses.Met with client 2 times total! Mr. Grace is a disgrace to the legal defense profession. Retire!

Not a good choice!

Does not have the client's interest in mind. Never prepared for court; only met with me twice (I was housed in the KCJ for 6 months), once to ask how I plead and the other was to escort me to court. He had indicated after his first meeting that he would keep in touch with me and that he would be se...nding over information that was important to my case, which he did not do. When we entered the court room he had no defense prepared for me. He had nothing to say on mybehalf, except when the judge asked who was there to represent me, he acknowledged the fact that he was for the record and that was it. I received the maximum sentence and he went over and shook hands with the prosceuting attorney and left. He looks unkept (clothes wrinkled), looks like an addict or alcoholic.
