Plaintiff Hawkins alleged that Defendant CSX Transportation, Inc. was negligent in failing to warn him and his co-worker of the hazardous conditions created by the downed power lines. Plaintiff sued CSX Transportation, Inc. pursuant to the Federal Employers' Liability Act (FELA). After a 4 day long trial the jury returned a verdict in Plaintiff's favor for $2,560,000.00
