Michael M. McFarland

Mr. McFarland was unhelpful in deciphering the Michigan court system, lacked knowledge or time to explain the details of a plea bargain that he recommended, and showed little personal interest in my criminal defense case. My biggest problem was his lack of communication leading up to and on the day... of the first court appearance. There was no privacy - no attempt at privacy - during his brief explanation of what was about to occur. Mr. McFarland dismissed questions I had about the details of the probationary period being offered. He also did not attend to my primary concern, which was to protect my professional license. I do not feel Mr. McFarland represented me to the best of his ability, although I do believe that it was a lack of interest and/or time rather that out of incompetence or malice.
