Just get a court appointed lawyer

Suggested I plead guilty. Pretty sure it was because he didn't want to deal with the hassle. Pleaded not guilty and won basically on my own.

Talks a good game but not very productive

Stated that per the evidence (for a Criminal Matter) he could get strictly probation, but received a jail term on top of probation. In addition allowed for me to be subjected to correction for a previous charge that had been dismissed by the procecution 2 years prior to the current charge and probat...ion cited a special course to be taken to address that matter. Something I had not been convicted of and both the Procecution and the SAME Judge had signed off on 2 years prior. Did not investigate the allegations I was convicted of before telling me to plead guilty as if I had no other options. Would not cover plan of action in detail but only gave me 10 minutes after having set an appointment prior. Very poor communicator. Spoke to me once after having gone to jail over 5 months after having gotten out. I had to call to find out if they had found anything or had any progress. And when I did call they had forgotten about checking up on an important matter three days before it was to be heard (child custody/divorce case). Sat on pertinent information and disregarded it even though it was highly important to safety of my children. The perfect example of a "Good-Ole Boy Attorney". Get an outside attorney if you are having a case heard in Adrian/Lenawee County!
