Christine J. Harrah

Christie Harrah-Kohls has been an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Stanley M. Sala, P.C. since January 2020. Born and raised in Adrian, Michigan, Christie graduated from the University of Michigan in 2013 with Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Science and Psychology. At U of M, she was a featured baton twirler with the Michigan Marching Band and traveled across the United States to perform at the Michigan Football games. (Go Blue!)

Christie attended Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law in Orange County, California, where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2016. While at Chapman Law, Christie clerked for the Honorable M. Marc Kelly and the Honorable Michael Hayes at the Orange County Superior Court.

Christie is barred in California and Michigan, as well as in the United States District Court – Central District of California and the United States District Court – Western District of Michigan.

Prior to joining the firm, Christie was a prosecutor in both Orange County, California and Lenawee County, Michigan. As a former prosecutor, Christie possesses rare, inside knowledge of the prosecution’s plan of attack and can help develop effective strategies to mount a successful defense.

Christie has also successfully written appeals that have won in the California and Michigan Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Christie specializes in criminal defense, expungements, divorce, personal injury, probate and estate administration, civil litigation, motion writing, and appeals (both civil and criminal).
