Kurt M. Armstrong

Kurt was hired originally for a divorce, and everything went fine. When it came to needing to fight over custody/support concerns, we hired him again and that was the worst decision we could have made in that instance. Over the course of a few months we paid him $8,000, only to in the end be told th...ere was nothing he could do, and basically we were just screwed. We then went to another attorney who told us it looked pretty cut and dry, and had the matter resolved in less than two months. So Kurt basically ignored his job and took our money. A lot of money. That’s it. We also had an issue where the opposing attorney added language to the orders, in his own handwriting, and was the only one who signed off on it, yet tried to claim it had been there all along and was just being ignored. Kurt just referred to it as “mysterious language” and left it at that, when it should have been investigated and taken care of as the forgery that it was. There were many other major issues I won’t divulge here... just know that between the two hirings he cost over $13,000, and the only real thing that was accomplished was the divorce was finalized. It really felt much of the time that he was working with the opposing attorney rather than his client.

Not very good. He has no problem billing you and will file paperwork, but does not follow through. I hired him for a divorce. Kurt is known for over charging as I was told by someone who works for the friend of the court in Berrien. Anytime I would mentioned I was not satisfied with him, he would tel...l me he was the best I could get, I doubt that know. I was desperate and believed in him. Kurt is one of the most expensive attorneys in Berrien County. I thought a high price tag correlated with performance, man was I wrong. Dont do what I did and believe and a little man.
