I first contacted Mr. Longstreet via an email message which he answered within a day. I had heard of his practice focusing on eldercare and had several positive comments on his service. My parents are quite elderly and are living in an assisted living facility. I knew we needed to make some change...s to their financial and legal affairs so my first meeting with Rob was at his office in Hastings and lasted about 90 minutes. He explained to me the importance of establishing Power of Attorney for both parents and of creating a revocable trust for most of their assets. He also gave good guidance on the procedure for applying for VA benefits. The necessary documents were prepared and Rob and his assistant, Shannon, met me at the assisted living facility to sign everything. Shannon subsequently prepared a binder containing all the signed documents and a memorandum of explanation on how next to proceed. Rob Longstreet is a gentlemen who has done precisely what he said he would do; I recommend him without reservation.
