Biography
Attorney McKinnis attended Michigan State University on a Freshman Valedictorian Scholarship, and earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in General Business Administration-prelaw from the Eli Broad College of Business. After that, he studied at Thomas M. Cooley Law School on an Honors Tuition Scholarship. Mr. McKinnis graduated from Cooley on the Dean's List with his Juris Doctorate Degree. He was sworn into practice in the Michigan Courts in the year 2016, in Shiawassee County, where he signed the "Roll of Attorneys," a tradition dating back to the 1800's.
