Biography
I joined the Law Offices of Lisa C. Ward, PLLC on October 5, 2020, and was sworn-in as a new attorney in Michigan on May 21, 2021. I handle employment discrimination and civil rights cases, special education and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), unemployment insurance benefits, drivers' license restoration, and criminal record expungement. I am currently a member of the Ingham County Bar Association and the Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ).
I also work with local attorneys as a freelance brief writer, and I am available on a contractual basis. I have written briefs on a number of topics, including governmental immunity, common law and statutory negligence, slip and fall, evidence admissibility, and a variety of other tort claims.
