Mr. LaCommare is a 1989 graduate of the University of Michigan. He attended the Michigan State University-Detroit College of Law and graduated Cum Laude in 1995. Mr. LaCommare then became an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Oakland County until 1996. He then joined the Livingston County Prosecutors Office as an Assistant Prosecutor from 1996 to 1999. During his time as a Prosecutor, Mr. LaCommare conducted numerous misdemeanor and felony trials.
Mr. LaCommare moved to Boston, Massachusetts in 1999 and joined a civil law firm. When in Boston, Mr. LaCommare focused his practice in business law, insurance law, construction litigation, commercial matters, criminal defense and personal injury cases. Mr. LaCommare moved back to Michigan in 2002 and joined the Kizer Law Firm as a partner. His current practice includes representing businesses and individuals in a variety of litigation, representing individuals charged with crimes, and working with clients to address their legal needs.
Mr. LaCommare is active in the community with the Howell Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Livingston Sunrise Rotary Past President, Livingston County Bar Association, member of the Michigan and Massachusetts Bar. He has conducted school programs educating children about our legal system, has been a guest speaker at D.A.R.E. graduations and is committed to improving the community.
