Anthony J. Szilagyi

Mr. Szilagyi is very professional and insightful. He’s very good at taking on a role that you need (i.e. won't come in with guns blazing if you don't want a completely aggressive representation, but will be aggressive when it benefits you), is knowledgable of the law, and is positive but realistic in... presenting what you should expect as an outcome (i.e. doesn’t sugarcoat, doesn't just tell you what you want to hear). We did take our issues to court and prevailed. I recommend!

When you see Tony Szilagyi, just run! He is absolutely the worst and most un-professional character that we have ever met in our lives (trying to be as polite as could be). We hired him for several cases at the same time (unfortunately) and he messed them up so bad that even when we hired another g...ood attorney, still the damages could not be fixed. He also charged us for services that he never worked on. He is so dangerous and I hope he does not find out that I wrote this review.

I have not had to hire very many lawyers but this one I would not recommend to my worst enemy. Mr. Szilagyi made claims to the person that recommended him to me that the particular case i hired him for "was right up his alley". Well I am not sure what alley Mr. Szilagyi woke up in every morning but i...t was definitely was a very dark alley in a brand new world because he was clueless of the case in hand. Mr Szilagyi was very confident and also stated that he would be able to complete the case for about $3,000.00 total. The final bill was way over $15,000.00. I had to pay for the court sanctions against him plus many other things that he did not make me aware of the majority of the happenings in the case. The only aggressive offense that was performed by Mr. Szilagyi were the interogatories that i had constructed for the defendant myself that he copied and pasted word for word and used. I am quite certain if Mr. Szilagyi was asked what the difference was between a lawyer and a shark he would come up with a either a very animated answer or he would be just as clueless as he is ineffective. This attorney is a classic example of why attorneys get a bad rap.

Mr Szilagyi is a very knowledgeable attorney and provided outstanding legal assistance for me and my wife. He assisted my wife and I in the purchase of a large business. He was able to handle all aspects of the business purchase and demonstrate a high degree of expertise in business acquisitions, em...ployee relation, contracts, and handling all the necessary state licensor needs for the business. He orchestrated the transaction in a highly professional manner keeping us informed throughout the process and not only advocated for us but also demonstrated a personal interest in our success. I am grateful for his hard work. He also endeavored to ensure that his rates and the final cost for his services to us was reasonable and fair. I highly recommend him.
