I highly recommend Mr. Erik Wallen for representation during an unfortunate situation as divorce. I never in a million years would have ever guessed that my husband, who at one time was my best friend, would end up being my worse enemy. I was recommended by a friend to contact Mr. Wallen. That was th...e best call I ever made.... When I called I was treated so kindly by his wonderful assistant and she scheduled me within 2 days. I hired Erik to represent me for my divorce and custody battle. I had no idea what to expect except the worse. That quickly changed after my first meeting with him. My divorce was very tricky and lasted 2 years. This included multiple properties, custody of my 2 daughters, my ex wife appealing every... decision, 15 years personal and marital property. Erik is definitely the one you want on your side. His preparation, attention to detail, patience, follow up, determination and pure professionalism is top notch. My divorce issues have now lasted over 7 years, my ex wife takes me to court every couple months for everything from wanting to change the custody order to medical bills. Erik has never left me in doubt and has never backed down. I have never lost a case with him by my side. I don't know what I would of done if I didn't have Erik as my lawyer, he kept my head in the game and treated me like an equal. I watched my ex go through 5 lawyers trying to find someone that could even come close to compete. I read 2 of these reviews on here that said Erik was not professional and he was arrogant. This couldn't be farther from the truth, and coming to know and hire Erik for 7 years I would definitely know. If you want someone to lie for you or be shady then look somewhere else, Erik is true to his clients and true to himself and Im sure thats where the negative reviews came from. I have recommended Erik and I will continue to do so.

Erik represented me in a case where I was falsely accused of domestic violence in order for my spouse to gain traction in a potential divorce. Getting a DV dismissed in Midland County is very unlikely and I was told that by several people who work with midland courts. He got my case dismissed! He has... a lot of experience with the attorneys and judges in midland and surrounding counties. Erik was very responsive to my questions and very straightforward with what to expect. I was referred to Erik by someone who has many years experience in midland courts and so happy I went with him. If you want an attorney who is going to coddle you, he is not your guy.. coddling doesn’t win cases though and Erik does. I am unbelievably impressed and relieved Erik has helped me prove my innocence with an impossible case. He is affordable, but what he did for me is invaluable and is worth so much more now that I have my life back.

Erik represented me for a divorce settlement and was willing to go to bat for me even when I wasn't willing to do so for myself. Not only was he there or me every step of the way, and willing to listen to what I wanted even when he didn't agree at times, he is there for me again on a similar issue. ... Having had him previously there is no one else I would go to. He is knowledgeable in what he does, and his experience shows.
