Andrew D. Richards

I am an Estate Planning, Business Succession and Business Lawyer.  I practice in my firm's Frankenmuth and Saginaw offices.

I have served at the President of my Local Chapter of the National Association of Estate Planning Councils; Northeastern Michigan Estate Planning Council; the Mid-Michigan Planned Giviing Council; and the Saginaw JayCees.

I currently serve on the Saginaw State University Foundation and the St. Mary's of Michigan Hospital Foundatiion boards of directors.

I have served as an adjunct instructor, teaching Business Law at Saginaw Valley State University, and an instructo in Saginaw Valley State University's Certified Financial Planner certification program.

During Law School, I worked for a year as a staff assistant to U.S. Senator Dan Quayle, a year as a law clerk in the U.S. Department of Agriculture General Counsel's Office, and a year as a law clerk in the U.S. Department of Transportation -- Federal Railroad Administration.

I graduated from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C., in 1984.  In addition to my Law Degree, I have a Masters Degree in Taxation from Walsh College in Troy, Michigan, and my undergraduate A.B. degree was from Hillsdale College, in Hillsdale, Michigan
