Mr. Pickard has represented my on a two occasions. When my fiance’s ex wife tried to take custody from him, Pickard suggested we not fight her in court and to go along with what the FOC suggested after a referee hearing. We later found out that he was going on vacation and did not want to have to ...cancel to try our case in front of the judge. Additionally, he has a “friendship” with the person at FOC that wrote the recommendation for the custody situation and he did not want to challenge her recommendation. Pickard charged us a $2500 retainer fee for representing us in a custody battle (we lost) and a child support evaluation (we lost)... after both were completed, he decided to tack another $555 onto our bill!
