Client allegedly removed accessories from a motorcycle financed with the credit union and returned the motorcycle without the allegedly removed accessories. The credit union sued my client for nearly $ ... 32,000.00 of damages and requested the bankruptcy court not discharge any of the debt. Due to my efforts, the debt aside from $9000 or so is discharged. My client is paying only $9,000 in installments of $200 per month, The client was billed far less than many attorneys would charge for such litigation (I billed $2500 whereas a majority of attorneys would have billed $5000).
