This case involved a 58 year old registered nurse who had sustained injuries while carrying a heavy patient. The applicant had severe issues in regards to her lower back and had to remain off work for ... an extended period of time. During this time, the applicant had collected temporary disability from the insurance company and EDD State Disability benefits for a sum in excess of $50,000. By using aggressive negotiation tactics we were able to procure a settlement for the applicant which included the insurance company completely reimbursing EDD for their lien.
