The family needed guidance and representation to ensure that their child would be placed back on an IEP. I met with the School and advocated for an IEP and services to be put in place through a 504 Pla ... n while the IEP was developed. At first the school was resistant, but they soon realized that I was not only an attorney but a licensed teacher with a M.A.T. I was able to get the child on a 504 plan which allowed her the services and accommodations she needed to be successful in school. The child was placed back on an IEP soon after.
