Biography
I am the owner of the Law Office of Troy D. Green PLLC, a consumer bankruptcy law firm serving the Flint area and metro Detroit.
I previously worked for Acclaim Legal Services where I represented over 300 Southeastern Michigan residents seeking debt relief. In particular, I prepared customized debt consolidation plans to stop home foreclosures and restructure debts by representing clients in Chapter 13 bankruptcies; I also eliminated debts altogether by representing clients in Chapter 7 bankruptcies. In addition, I participated in lawsuits seeking to discharge student loans and unsecured subordinate mortgages, and protected clients from unlawful creditor harassment.
Prior to working at Acclaim Legal Services, I graduated from Regent University School of Law with a 3.53 GPA (ranked 14/140 in my class). I was also given an Academic Merit Award and served as Managing Editor of the Regent Journal of International Law and as Treasurer & Vice-President of Sports for the Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Society.
I'm also a 2006 graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor where I earned a Bachelor's in General Studies (3.52 GPA).
