Biography
With more than 50 years of legal experience in personal injury, wrongful death, and product liability cases, Edwin W. Jakeway has dedicated his career to helping the injured recover efficiently and safely from their injuries. A 1961 graduate from Michigan State University College of Law, Edwin was also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals, 6th Circuit, in 1985, and has helped thousands of clients achieve the compensation they deserve to heal, whether it be from minor injuries like cuts and sprains, to catastrophic injuries like spinal cord injuries and head and brain trauma. He holds memberships to organizations including the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, American Board of Trial Advocates, and more, and is the recipient of accolades that include his alma mater’s Distinguished Alumni Award, the John W. Porter Distinguished Service Award, and the Respected Advocate Award at the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel.
