I Highly Recommend!

I highly recommend Darrin Andrus. He was my lawyer for my Social Security Disability claim. Which resulted in a fully favorable ruling in my case before a Judge. Having a severe case of social anxiety as well as other mental health limitations, this whole process was very daunting. Darrin was a calmi...ng presence throughout. He helped put me at ease both in our meetings privately (he helped me prepare for the hearing) as well as sitting before the judge. He made sure I understood the process every step of the way. I couldn’t recommend him more to anyone going through the SSD or SSI process. He will fight for you and your claim. This is from someone whose claim was approved. Thank you Darrin for all your help. I couldn’t have done this on my own.

Highly recommend!

We recommend Darrin to anyone seeking representation for a disability case. He was forthright with all information and potential outcome, always available for any questions and walked us thru each step of the process. When we had to contact SSDI we were told our paperwork was impeccable and “it ...was a pleasure to process your submission “. Darrin contacted us immediately when a decision had been made. We felt very assured that we were in great hands thru the whole ordeal. Our case took only 8 months to reach a favorable outcome. Thanks Darrin, we will surely recommend your services to any family member or anyone we know or meet.

Stay away!

I got denied disability the first attempt on my own so I contacted Mr Andrus.Set up appointment and went over my issues he stated he wouldn't take the case if it wasn't for me having more than one disability and that made me feel abit better.Well my reconsideration came back unapproved as I suspected... it would.I had to reach out to him because there was no contact from him. After I checked my status on my case I reached out.To get this message. After a careful review of your case, we have determined that we can no longer represent you in your claim for disability benefits. So here's proof he tried to do a quick money grab because he immediately stopped representation. Find a council that will work for you and not try to take 25 percent of your benefits by faxing a couple pieces of paper but be paid to do thier job. Stay away from this place!

This review was copied from GBP and more than likely was posted by AVVO to attempt to get my office to pay exhorbitant fees to use their platform. I note one of their reps just emailed me to sign up again right after this was posted. They have been calling and emailing my office non-stop for the last 3 months to sign up for their premium plan. I did this years ago for $700/month for a year and never received a single call through their so called premium placements. Or a competing attorney in the area signed this former client up and asked him to repost this on AVVO. Or he was up into the wee hours of the morning drinking his cheap beer (last post in November was 2:04 am) because no other attorney wants to take his case. This is obviously harrrassment or stalking after 5 months of filing my withdrawal in the matter. Large law firms that advertise all day long withdraw from cases all the time, as I have represented many of those people in the past quite successful if they actually listen to their attoney's advise. Here was my response 9 weeks ago to client: Darren, I'm sorry that you took offense to my decision to no longer represent you in your Social Security disability matter. But as we discussed at the beginning of representation, there were certain things that you needed to accomplish in a short matter of time. You were unable to get those things accomplished, so I had to make the decision prior to requesting a hearing, whether to proceed on your matter or decline representation at that point. Since you hadn't been able to accomplish those things, I had to simply make a business decision on whether I thought we could be successful. I have found that clients need to be able to get the medical treatment consistently prior to the hearing to have any chance of being successful in front of the ALJ. Also, I did reach out to you first, and that was to advise you I no longer wished to represent you. I received the decision (dated 11/18/2024) on 11/22/2024, and emailed you the next day on 11/23/2024. We wish you the very best going forward.
