If it is important to you, then you can take the bankruptcy court order to the state court and file a motion to reopen the state court action.

If you received a 1099c, you would use form 982 to explain that it was discharged in bankruptcy and therefore not taxable income.

It sounds like you surrendered your home and allowed foreclosure. If so, the second mortgage would have been discharged at the end of the chapter...
