OUTCOME: Conviction reversed (Not competent to stand trial). Certification withdrawn as improvidently granted.

Appellant Division ruled in defendant's favor and dismissed the one count conviction on a de minimus charge. (Defendant was acquitted at trial of all serious 1st & 2nd degree offenses by a jury.) Sta ... te appealed the App. Div. decision to Supreme Court which granted certification to the State.
