Biography
I grew up in Metro-Detroit, and after some traveling, I now make my home here as well. I attended the Honors College and Lyman Briggs School at Michigan State University, graduating with a degree in Physiology and extensive studies in Chemistry as well. Originally intending to attend medical school, I changed these plans after 9/11/2001, enlisting in the United States Army as a medic.
I served 12 years in the U.S. Army, both active and reserve components. Before attending law school, I worked in the field of medicine performing electroneurodiagnostic tests on patients during complex procedures involving neurological structures.
I am married, a father of three, and enjoy running, hiking, hunting and fishing. I am married to an English teacher, and we are complete bibliophiles, owning more books than anything else.
