He didn't represent me probably he didn't have my best interest at hand he had made false promises he never keeps his word he refuses to reply back to emails texts or phone calls and because of his unethical practice he had left me homeless and he left me in a nine-month divorce battle without him ha...ving my back and my divorce is still going on with no ending in sight. I highly suggest do not hire this attorney he really should not have a license to practice law

I hired Robert Morrison for the project of set aside default and file appeal (if necessary). Mr. Morrison explained if the motion to set aside default was successful he would refund the unused portion of my $7,000, I gave him $3500 initially. Well the motion was denied and I didn't want to use his ...services moving forward. I tried to get the unused portion of my retainer back and he said the motion to set aside default completely used up my retainer $7000 / $225 per hour = 31 hours and he filed a motion of lien against my home to get the remaining balance. I'm a consultant and I know he couldn't have worked more than 8 - 12 hours max. For instance Morrison said he took 8 hours just to read 161 emails. I asked Mr. Morrison to produce them and he couldn't produce 20. I found Robert Morrison to be unethical and dishonest. From the way he carries himself he's been doing this to people for a long time. Whatever your issue he will only make it worse.

Failed to properly inform me of the choices available to me and communicate how those choices would effect me. Failed to represent my interests. Failed to follow through on ex husbands' breaches of restraining order. Failed to communicate and after he told me to tell him everything my ex-husband di...d, he chastised me for too many emails. I paid up front for filing and trial, but was pushed into a "binding arbitration", so no trial, but he charged me for trial and representation, neither of which occurred. I was not properly prepared for any of the arbitration meetings nor was allowed to produce witnesses.

This lawyer was the worst! Just like the previous reviewer stated, at first he promised the world and sounded like he would be on your side. Once he collected the retainer of $5k he stopped commuincating. He blatantly ignored my texts messages, calls everything. Scheduled dates for hearings without... my consent and/or knowledge. My case never went to the end and this lawyer is stating now that I owe him more money. When I asked for itemized statements so I can see where my 5k was spent on he became defensive and told me that sending me that was silly and a waste if his time! Plus he's asking for at least another 1800?! On top of all this he lied to the opposing council and sent my husbands lawyer an email telling them that I was behind on my legal fees which first is a lie but also a breach of lawyer/client confidentially rules. Please please people stay away! He should be banned by the bar from ever practicing law again. All he is a money hungry lawyer whose totally incompetent. Save your money for a good lawyer who won't try to rob you and will fight for you. This experience with him was a total nightmare!
