Laura Athens is very knowledgeable and trustworty and is a great asset to our team.

My wife and I were very fortunate to have Laura recommended to us by our educational consultant. She was able to help us get through a very frustrating and emotional time in our lives relating to our emotional imparied child. She is very knowlegeable of the law and is well respected by her peers an...d this was very helpful in getting the best IEP for our child. We routinley consult with Laura as new issuse arise and truley do not feel alone with her representing us. We will continue to reley on here for our future needs as they come up. I highly recommend Laura Athens and take my recommendations very seriously especially when related to leagal or medical situations

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
