Joe Wloszek is a Member of Hirzel Law, PLC and leads the Real Estate Litigation Department. Mr. Wloszek focuses his practice on residential and commercial real estate disputes, condominium and homeowner’s association law, commercial litigation, large contractual disputes, and related real estate matters. Mr. Wloszek has extensive litigation and trial experience in state and federal courts involving commercial litigation issues and real estate matters. He frequently represents community associations, co-owners, builders, developers, landlords, mortgage brokers and private individuals throughout Michigan. He is a Certified Real Estate Continuing Education Instructor through the State of Michigan and he is the past Chair of the Oakland County Bar Association’s Real Estate Committee.
Mr. Wloszek has authored numerous articles and served as a speaker for various groups including the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, the Building Owners and Managers Association, the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, CAI-Michigan Chapter, and Wayne State University. Mr. Wloszek has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Real Estate Law from 2013-2020, an award given to only 2.5% of the attorneys in Michigan each year. He was also named a Top Lawyer in commercial law by DBusiness Magazine in 2014, a Michigan Top Lawyer in real estate law by Michigan Top Lawyers in 2016 and the Pro Bono Volunteer Attorney of the Year in 2014 by Michigan Community Resources. He is also a Certified Real Estate Continuing Education Instructor through the State of Michigan and the former Chair of the Oakland County Bar Association Real Estate Committee.
Mr. Wloszek graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law where he was a member of Moot Court Board of Advocates and participated in the national Dean Jerome Prince Evidence Competition in Brooklyn, New York. Also during law school, Mr. Wloszek interned with Justice Markman of the Michigan Supreme Court, he was Student Chapter President of the Federalist Society, he was selected as a Member of the prestigious American Inns of Court and he received the Book Award for Property law.
Mr. Wloszek has lived in a condominium and an HOA and he is the current President of the Board of Directors of his HOA.
