Jessica Dopierala Hite

Jessica Hite is an associate attorney at Asker Perlmuter, PLC, concentrating her practice in teh area of business litigation.

Jessica is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and earned a J.D., cum laude, where she was a two year member of the University of Detroit Mercy Law Review, serving as Title Editor.  While in law school, Jessica was a member of the Dean's Tutorial Society, Justice Frank Murphy Honor Society, and a recipient of the Dean's Scholarship for Academic Excellence.  She completed her undergraduate studies at Oakland University and earned a BA with honors in Political Science.  She was the recipient of the Florine Trumbull Scholarship and Talented Scholars Award while attending Oakland University.

Prior to Joining Asker Perlmuter, PLC, Jessica worked as a law clerk at Ishibia & Gagleard in Birmingham, Michigan and O'Reilly Rancilio, P.C. in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Her publications include "Bridging the Gap Between Theory and Practice:  Why students are falling off the bridge and what law schools are doing to catch them,: 85 U.De. (2008), and "Barnes v. Jeudevine, Case Digest," 85 U. (2007).
