Biography
I enjoy being able to help my clients (individuals, couples and families) plan to address all of their estate planning needs. This includes planning for possible incapacity; planning for the proper transfer of assets at death, including managing the inheritance of individuals who may be too young or otherwise unable to manage property himself or herself.
I also work in the local probate courts for my client's (or their family member's) matters. This includes preparing petitions to have a guardian or conservator named; handling the probate process in the event assets are not otherwise transferred at death and more recently asking Courts to make changes to Trusts which were put in place for specific reasons which may no longer apply.
An important part of the planning is making sure assets are properly owned and beneficiaries have been carefully considered and documented in order to coordinate with the Estate Planning documents my clients have taken the time to prepare.
I truly enjoy getting to know my clients and their families and being able to work with their team of advisors.
