Made Promises but Didn't Follow Through

Had student loans from National Collegiate Trust. Was told that we could go to trail, but persuaded me to agree to a settlement and he would set up a payment plan with the court. Lo and behold, the payment plan never went through and I began to get garnished. He then wanted me to agree to a payment p...lan with National Collegiate Trust! He had me settle and put me into a position with no leverage. Other attorneys have told me that they would have had the lawsuits dismissed. Now I'm up a creek without a paddle. Do yourself a favor and don't hire this guy.

We requested your information several times years ago in order to file the proper paperwork. To date, you have not done so, and thus this happened. If we don't get your information timely, we cannot guarantee any kind of results. Needless to say, the clients who follow our instructions get the results they want. You did not do so, and are wrongfully blaming us. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding, If you would like to contact us, we would be happy to help you.

Bankruptcy Case Failure

Eric was very supportive and helpful until it had been a few months into my case. First Eric never got my check that I mailed for 2200.00 for representation on 3 cases dealing with student loan issues. So I sent him a payment on his square. Apparently his wife ( also a lawyer) cashed the check. Not a... big deal just a mistake but then our first meeting was cancelled 2 hours before the meeting due to him having car issues and being stuck hours away. Another not a big deal but then my paperwork was “misfiled” and my wages we’re garnished and I couldn’t pay my bills. The garnishment went on for about 2 months before we went to court. Eric didn’t appear in court with me his wife did and he didn’t tell me to expect her. His wife is a very nice person but she did not ask ANY questions and barely said a word. The only thing she did tell the judge was that I was unable to make a payment of 600.00 a month. So for 2200.00 I got one meeting, misplaced paperwork and a garnishment I was told it would never come to that. I am extremely disappointment in the service and care I got. I asked for my files LAST YEAR because I hired a new lawyer but still never received any of my files. Just feel like they took my 2200.00 and didn’t care at all.

This was only brought to my attention today, so I have not rebutted this until now. While I cannot comment publicly on the specifics of your case because of attorney client privilege, I am satisfied that we did everything we told you we were going to do (including court filings, document preparation, court appearances, and other analytics of your case) until you decided to go a different route with your case that did not involve this firm or our services. Yes, we did accidentally charge your account in a good faith error but that was fixed immediately after you brought it our attention. As with all of our clients, we put all of the time and effort I felt we needed to accomplish your goals. This approach has been overwhelmingly successful for virtually all of our clients, saving them a cumulative total of hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loan debt. In addition to monetary relief, I am very proud that we also give our clients relief from the terrible stress and anxiety about their student loans and allowed them to live their lives again. Unfortunately, Avvo, or any other online review platform does not have access to report the untold amounts of thank yous or other accolades I have personally received from my clients, nor can you see the hugs I have gotten from them in my office or so many courtroom hallways because they are so happy with the result I have delivered to them.
